Erin founded Feet & Life to make advanced medical foot and lower-limb care accessible and cost-effective in the Barrie community. Her team pairs clinical nursing skill with a caring, unhurried approach.
Erin created and trademarked the PodOrtho® Foot Specialist designation, a recognised standard for advanced medical foot and lower limb care delivered by nurses.
She leads the Canadian Foot Care Association – Ontario Foot Care Association, which sets accredited standards of best-practice guidelines for foot and lower limb care and supports practitioners with continuing education and practice advocacy. She also runs the School of PodOrtho Foot Specialists, where nurses and other healthcare providers complete accredited post-graduate training in medical foot and lower limb care. More than 3,000 nurses and personal support workers have been trained and certified through her programs.
A published author and healthcare entrepreneur, Erin brings the standards she teaches to every client at Feet & Life: a thorough assessment, evidence-based treatment and time to answer your questions.
Our staff are Registered PodOrtho® Foot Specialists who are Registered Nurses (RNs, RPNs, NPs). Each has completed post-graduate education to specialise in advanced medical foot and lower limb care.
Their primary goal is to optimise foot health, improve mobility and improve each client’s overall health-related quality of life. Lower leg and foot assessments can detect early signs of life-altering diseases or disabling conditions.
